In the last three years, I finally succumbed to that urge many people that are into computers have; I started building a small home lab. My first step into this was with prosumer-level Wi-Fi in the form of Ubiquiti hardware. After some Googling, I found evanmccann.net, and the articles there helped me with my setup.
As it turns out this week marks three years since Evan launched his titular website. Since finding his posts I've been fortunate enough to spend some time chatting with Evan on his Discord. I've been able to take some of the things I've learned from my Ubiquiti journey and use them as I moved into a full-time career in IT. I've been able to bounce thoughts off of and ramble at Evan as I've made this change. Always quick to help where he can on Discord, he also somehow makes time for massive comparison charts!
So Evan, since you keep putting off that podcast we have a lot of show notes for already I thought a little audio congratulations might also help motivate you! Congrats on three years, and thanks for all your help!
